Aby móc latami cieszyć się produktami z naszej prążkowanej dzianiny należy zawsze prać je odwrócone na lewą stronę używając delikatnych (nawet dziecięcych) detergentów oraz ustawiać możliwie niskie obroty pralki. Prać ręcznie lub w pralce na programie prania ręcznego. Używać możliwie najdelikatniejszych środków piorących. Maksymalna temperatura prania  30º C. Wirowanie maksymalnie 600 obrotów. Suszyć na płasko - nie suszyć w suszarce bębnowej. Prasować parowaczką lub żelazkiem w temperaturze do 110 stopni C. Nie czyścić chemicznie.
